This is a new hostel perfectly located in the centre of Luxor, walking distance to both the train station and Luxor temple. Mohamed, the owner, is super kind and extremely helpful in providing any tips on what to do or where to eat. Beds are really comfortable in the 4 bed dorm and bathrooms were also new and spotless. This is the best option to stay in Luxor.

It is not 5 star hotel! The place has a very good value of the money. The place was very nice, comfortable, clean, and affordable. The host is respectful and helpful. There is a nice cafe in the street! For host: thank you for your hospitality. I only have a few suggestions: please buy dark curtain, as the current curtains don't make the room fully dark. Please increase the charge of the room by 50 cent and always add toilet paper. I suggest that you buy spring mattress + bigger bed sheet for the bed to ensure the main mattress stays clean and in good shape for long time. I hope you find my suggestions helpful.

Mohammed, the man who takes care of the hostel has gone far beyond my expectations. When you have the opportunity to be welcomed in this hotel, or rather in a place that you could call you home, you would feel part of a big family where the focal point his him. Mohammed and his colleagues are always there to assist you when you need it, they help you out with tours and activities, provide insider tips how to behave to avoid unpleasant situations, and many more. Basically you are considered you are considered as guest at their place, rather than a client. Thank you for everything and I hope to see you soon again!!! Plus: they provide you with a full set of bedsheets (top and bottom)!!!

The receptionist was very friendly and was always waiting for us, maintaining communication from the moment we arrived at the airport at 2AM. The hotel is situated in a good location for visiting Cairo. The mattress was very comfortable and the sheets were very clean.

The property is in a very calm and quite neighbourhood in west Luxor. The room was cosy, and the bathrooms were spotless. There is 24x7 availability of hot water. Ahmed, the host also picked me up and dropped me for no extra cost to and from the bus station while I was in Luxor. I was travelling solo and Ahmed rented his motorbike to me during the stay. I was able to go around Luxor with ease. By far this was a great experience for me. The location is very close to many attractions in west Luxor, hence it is easy to visit them from the homestay. Ahmed will also provide you with fresh locally made food on request. All in all, I highly recommend Magic Place and looking forward to saying once again.
