Smooth check-in, very nice and cozy and comfortable design of the hostel. I liked the hostel beds that provide enough privacy (you have your curtains, shelves, lamp, sockets, ...). The beds were stiff enough so that you don't know about the mate sleeping under/above you. :)

best hostel - value for money; seems to be designed by seasoned travelers; money spent on what is required - good showers and bathrooms with a curtain in shower cubicle on the side wall to protect a small area for fresh clothes and a rack for personal toiletries and towels - have never seen this in any hostel. no one really cares about sleeping in a 24 bed vs 4 bed dorm as long as showers and toilets are really clean and utilitarian which they are here. 24/7 staff with a monitor with live updates on public transport/ citi events captured on a white board with communal spaces for groups and quiet dorms for solo travellers. fantastic!

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city center. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner.
