Just about everything. Welcoming and cozy design, friendly tri- or morelingual staff, good quality beds and linen(!), outstandlingly clean, breakfast and/or shared kitchen, ganes, cure patio, you name it. stayed for just for one night passing thru but will be back to enjoy the Basque coast for sure.

+ Very nice hostel in Biarritz. Not quite in the centre but the beach/centre of the city is easily accessible by foot or bus. + The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions. I was allowed to drop off my luggage and take a shower before the actual check in time to see the city. o There is a washing machine but for people who only have 1-2 items to wash, a clothesline (maybe in the garden) to hang them on would be handy.
