I loved how relaxing and peaceful the hostel is. Fabulous views and scenery and lots of birds. The sound of the river and non-existent light polution made for a perfect getaway. Friendly staff and a bargain meal & dessert.

It was near the mountains in Lake district and they have a big drying room with heat at the ground floor. Big beautiful mountains outside and a big beautiful River.

We LOVED our stay here & wish we could have stayed longer. The staff are so lovely - helpful & friendly but not pushy. The efforts to increase biodiversity & attract wildlife are gorgeous. The kitchen is very good, although sometimes a bit small. The area is packed full of beautiful places to explore. And the local pub is so friendly too

Lovely staff and perfect location on the Cumbria Way. The setting is absolutely wonderful – right by the river on the edge of the charming town of Keswick. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I truly love staying with YHA – they never disappoint!
