Lee Abbey was part of my life, since I am an ex-community member (2009/10). The place has passed through a huge reform, it now looks much more confortable, they even have toilets in some rooms (608 basement). The staff is friendly and the atmosphere stills warm and nice, the food package is also good.

This is my first ever experience of staying in a hostel, and it's absolutely positive. The hostel is centrally located, on a quiet street, with an amazing 5* staff who are truly dedicated! Happy seniors, families, school groups, quiet international and British solo travellers are the contingent I saw. Your sleep is well respected and protected by the accommodation rules. The place is secure (several electronic locks before you reach your "destination"), clean, warm, spacious, comfortable (breakfasts, well-equipped kitchen, cosy common areas). My bed was really comfortable, with high quality linen, duvet and pillow. Special thanks to super friendly Chang, Thomas and Sam who greeted me on arrival and gave me good advice on my stay. This beautiful hostel claims to be a 4*, but I think its sophisticated simplicity will exceed your highest expectations.

The hostel is clean, the rooms are large and the bed is comfortable. It is also close to the metro and central London. I spent 5 days and it was wonderful. I loved the place. I highly recommend it.
