The best part of my stay was definitely the staff-led tour to Bromo. They organized everything from transport to snacks and even they show me a place to rent jacket, it felt like I was being taken care of by a friend. Watching the sunrise from the viewpoint was breathtaking, and I was glad I booked it through the hostel.

Such a great place to stay in Malang! I came here with no plans and I found myself doing all the best activities during my stay, thanks to the owners Vico and Wiwin:) They have a lovely garden where you can chill, chat with other travels and also enjoy the free coffee that they provide. I did tour Bromo and Ijen organized by them with the friends I made here. Highly recommend; you will be accompanied by great people! Bed was comfy, showers and toilets were nice and clean, quiet and peaceful environment and free breakfast all for such a small cost. Thank you to Ahmed who was always happy to help, answer questions and recommend activities/ places to go. Was really special spending time with some of the kids from the children’s home too. Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Wees Een Kind and wish I could have stayed longer! <3

This is very much a backpackers hostel, so has that vibe to it. Staff was really friendl, and rooms were decent enough for a hostel and the shared bathroom was clean. Location great, many restuarant options around, and about 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a travel agency downstairs where you can book a Bromo tour.
