FranceLove the place, amazing staff that you can get to meet and just all around great place for a stay although it also depends on who you end up meeting there, personally I was pretty lucky! Located in the middle of town meaning everything is within range. They even offer free bikes for you to move around. The bathroom was also perfect with that mix of old and new, the whole place is the traditional ryokan style which is very nice and they also have a kotatsu! And the price is not even that high! Crazy!

Super friendly staff. Even though there are no staff on site (reception 2 minutes walk away), they were amazingly responsive to my questions and handled things super quick (needed to ask for a knife for the kitchen). Atmosphere is really really chill. Not a party hostel, but a homey atmosphere in which to relax. Already extended several nights.

The hostel is self check-in, so the host is not always there
