The room (one for two people with private bathroom) was very clean and although tiny for European standards, it was quite comfortable. The location is amazing! In a nice neighbourhood with many things to do around, in walking distance to main attractions and quite well connected. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is the option to store your luggage for free. I would totally recommend it.

Really easy to reach the main station on foot, the place is very central. The staff is super kind and helpful. I had a little issue with my phone and they helped me kindly. There is a restaurant/bar on the 1st floor where you can take a coffee in the morning and have a drink in the evening.

I had a night bus that arrived at almost 7am and they let me stay in the lounge area from 9 until check in which was a huge plus since I was super tired , so right from the start it was perfect Everything was kept neat and tidy despite the great ammount of guests

I had a fantastic two-week stay at the language school in Sora, staying in a private room. The place was exceptionally clean throughout my entire stay, the kitchen was very convenient, and the location was fantastic. The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. I genuinely have no complaints—only a strong recommendation for this hostel. I read about people complaining about the karaoke, but I only experienced it twice during my two-week stay, and with earplugs, it wasn't an issue at all.

staff were very friendly and accommodating! theres a language barrier but it didnt stop them from trying to communicate and be friendly with the guests! would love to come back again in the future! place was very close to everything especially the main areas of kyoto! i literally walked from there to the market and some of the main attractions around kyoto area.

Loved this place. Good vibe, friendly staff, and a kitchen where you can cook. It’s in a quite peaceful area. It’s about half an hour walk to the main places, which can be a bit far if you just want to go quickly go out. But it’s close to a train station. All in all I loved this place and will come back to stay a bit longer in Kyoto if I can.
