We had such a nice stay at this hostel. The room was clean and comfy. Location was so beautlyful, directly at the lake and outside of the town. Staff was really friendly! We also rent a kayak and bike for free. Highly recommended <3

Our stay at White House was absolutely amazing, the best place we stayed in Sri Lanka by a mile. The room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and comfortable. We spent five days here and genuinely didn’t want to leave. The highlight of our stay was the host, who treated us like a family and made us feel so welcome. A very nice, new hostel, super clean. The location is very good, just next to the bus and railway station and also, very close to the fort entrance, only some minutes on foot. People work there are very kind and helpful. There is also a pud downstairs of the hostel where visitors can find very tasty local food in good prices and huge portions. I would highly recommend this place
