The PERFECT hostel! The owner, staff and volunteers were super friendly and social and there’s a lot of activities going on like volley ball or beerpong. Was always clean and it only takes you a short walk to get to the beach.

I had the best time at The Well so I came back here 4 times during my trip!! The owners do the most to ensure a great stay. It is not a party or super social hostel but the atmosphere is super laid-back and together with the beautiful pool area, it is the perfect place to relax. The price for the dorms is very reasonable as they are very clean, the beds are very comfortable and have curtains. I have met the best people at this place and would always come back here. Danke nochmal Eric!

The staf is really friendly and helpful. They will help you with anything. The place is really clean as well. They have filtered water, free of charge. Most hostels I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka didn’t offer any filtered water. The location is ideal, it’s only a 3 minute walk to the busstop and the main road with all the shops and restaurants. The beach is not even a 10 minute walk. There is also a kitchen and fridge which guests can make use of. I planned to stay here a few days, but ended up staying for two weeks.

I ended up staying in this hostel longer than expected because of how comfortable and welcomed I felt. It was exceptionally clean for a hostel. I also felt very safe. The door has a code to get in and the rooms are equipped with lockers. Location was great. literally a 5 minute walk to a big store you can find whatever products you need, liquor store 5 minutes, beach 10 minute walk.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient, close to Kabalana Beach, which made it easy to get around. Overall, it was a nice experience and good value for the money. I would be happy to stay here again.
