The owners were very helpful, polite and kind to us. They gave us the most useful advice for our trips. They woke up very early to prepare our breakfasts, we really appreciated it.The lhouse is really beautiful and clean, with many spaces to relax. The rooms are comfortable with big and clean bathrooms.The general atmosphere is cozy and special, you feel like in your own home.

Dropp is an incredible hostel, everything is clean and tidy. The work team is very attentive and they help you with everything so that you have a unique experience in Colombo. The beds are the best, good mattresses, clean sheets, bathrooms, showers and common areas are always very clean! They recommended a couple of tours of the city with a contact of theirs, very good and affordable prices. They also helped us with our bags since we moved to Kandy and they allowed us to leave our bags until our return and we reserved one more night before leaving for India. We totally recommend it. This is the second time I have stayed here. It is a very comfortable place. I am happy that I can spend my time very freely. The staff here is also very friendly. This is the only place where you can get very comfortable, low budget and affordable accommodation around Colombo. I highly recommend this place. I loved it! The owners are so welcoming and nice, they have very good common areas to chill and meet other travelers, as well as a pool. There is AC on the rooms so it was nice to sleep without suffering from the hot humid weather

Very lovely staff who were really helpful as I had to check in after midnight, there was no issue and I was welcomed with a smile :) Super cool interiors and modern rooms :) I also liked all the sustainability posters around the place :) Would have been great to stay longer for sure if I was in the area for more days

The staff here are really great specially sithul & dhushyanthi helpful for everything. Everyone staying here was great also and was a good place to make friends to continue travelling with or to meet along the way in Sri Lanka! The dinner they make each night is also delicious and free.

Excellent hostel, with a great restaurant serving all day breakfast, lunch and dinner. We stayed in a private room and a dorm on two visits. The rooms are exceptionally clean, with cool AC and hot and powerful showers. Top quality facilities. The food is sublime, I had the egg kotu and ice cream, on both visits. The portion sizes are generous and the prices very sensible. I found the whole process very relaxing! I recommend this place without any hesitation. Please do message ahead if you are arriving late so that the staff can wait up for you. They don't always reply to WhatsApp so it's best to call ahead.
