During my stay at the hotel, I was truly impressed by its gorgeous concrete interior and modern renovation—everything is brand new. Great friendly place who kindly let us check in early and stay in the room the next day until our train, which was much appreciated. Clean room, good hot shower, good air conditioning, quiet location but just 5 minutes from the beach and close to several nice eateries. Fridge and kitchen area available. Lovely relaxed and welcoming vibe.

All the staff, especially Justin the manager, are really very kind and welcoming. There is a festive and supportive atmosphere, you quickly feel included in the group. Good humor reigns there at all times! At first I was in a tent, which was a little hot in the mornings, but very affordable. I changed to a private room with bathroom and it suited my needs better.

    Wake Up Hostel was my favourite Hostel in Sri Lanka so far. The social vibe is great and you can easily get to know new people. There is social activities every day, the location is 5 minutes from the beach and it's a bit off of the main road so you don't here the traffic. In addition the Host is super cool and takes part in most hostel activities. The dorm room was spacy, clean and there was a wooden Box to store your important stuff. If you want to to experience something you should definitely go here.

    this is the best hostel I have visited. good location, close to the beach, cafe, shop. clean, friendly staff. The best guys worked at the reception. they created a really cool atmosphere and came up with various events.

    A great hostel with a great location. Not far from the bus station or beach. There always some activity and a WhatsApp group to make it easier. Common area is really nice and easy to meet people. Nice with a kitchen as well!
