Probably the best hostel in Kahtmandu. It's so good that you don't even feel like leaving the hostel to visit the city. I think the best part is the outside area, which has a very cool and calm vibe for eating, socializing and working. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and always very helpful. They also have various tours and trekking trips in Nepal that you can book with them.

The Birds Nest Hostel is like a home away from home for me. I met so nice people and friends there, i felt welcoming and relax from the first second ! I love the garden, every rooms have comfortable beds and it's very clean. You can also enjoy the food at the restaurant which is good and organise your trip easily.     Great location and great vibe. I met a lot of interesting people at Hostel Swastik that went on to become good friends. The staff are helpful and Bishwo the owner is a really great guy with interesting projects ongoing. I will never stay anywhere else except here whenever I'm in Bhaktapur.

    The staff was nice and helpful.. beds comfortable and the place clean enough.. good vibes to hung around the hostel and perfect location. In the outskirts of the main town, close to the bus stop. Perfect for backpackers

    Super cozy and friendly hostel in a great location. Bishwo, the owner is very helpful and knows a lot about the area. He helped me with my indian visa and recommended the best local restaurants and places to go in Bhaktapur as well as outside the city. The hot showers work very well and the beds are comfortable. Furthermore you can use the rooftop terrace of the guesthouse just across the streets for some amazing sunset.

    Great location, very lovely, helpful, and kind owners, water refill included, relatively clean bathroom sharing spaces, hot shower, communal toilet roll and soap, cheap price (and I had a private room).

    I loved the atmosphere at Swastik hostel. It's a small hostel, but it has a range of different rooms and a guesthouse with private rooms nearby. The people are very chill, spontaneous and hospitable. I felt taken care of, safe and never lonely. We discovered new parts of Bhaktapur every evening for the Dashain festival and really got the local experience thanks to the host, Bishwo. And I still feel like there is loads to discover. I will be back! 😀

    The Hostel is a good place if you search for something cheaper in Bhaktapur. The owner and people there are very nice, helpful, kind and know a lot about the place and environment! They also take you to trips like a waterfall!
