Both the room itself and the shared facilities were clean, the bed was comfy, the location was good (walking distance from the bus/railway station and the city center) and communication with the hosts was great. self-Check in/out was very easy and convenient. I especially appreciated them letting me check in early!

I got a wery friendly welcome, and the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming. The community area was decorated for Christmas and had enough space for everyone at ones with four coaches in front of a fireplace and a big dining table. The facilities were clean and the kitchen had everything you could need.the outside area is big and has a barbecue as well as a second dining table. There even is a northern coach and sitting bags autside which made my stay really comfortable. The owner moved out ot of her way to help me find my lost things. All in all the facilities and atmosphere are fantastic for the price. ( On one of the best hostels I've bin so far)

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

The house is old, but it has so much atmosphere! The owners are absolutely wonderful, so friendly and involved. It really felt like a home in the hostel. There are great places to just chill out, but also a great garden with table if you do want to hang out with other people. It's cheap and location is super! I would recommend!!

The host was very nice and the hostel is located very close to the main shopping area of Blenheim. It had a very big kitchen with everything u could ever need, a nice lounge and veranda. The room (in my case a 6 bed female only dormitory) was big enough for all of us and our luggage.
