We were a group of 3 using a quad room before a hike. This was perfect for us. There were plugs to charge devices by each bed. There was a good kitchen. Nice atmosphere - everyone I think we met was going for a hike.

Located in Te Anau and within less than 1 km of Fiordland Cinema, Te Anau Central Backpackers features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi.

The hostel had a really cosy vibe, with a big lounge area and big kitchen. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The dorm rooms had lockers and it was possible to have electronics charging inside them. The bathrooms were clean. Location was amazing, very close to the lake front and only a short walk from the supermarket.

The place is amazing! It is so clean and comfy, surrounded by nature, and the check-in was easy, even late at night. I definitely want to visit again!
