I booked one night at The Millas Hostel to attend a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. I was pleasantly surprised because the venue was just an 8-10 minute walk away, following a straight path with no turns. Although I didn’t spend much time at the hostel, I loved it; the ambiance was cozy and homey, just to my liking. I appreciated Madam Ligaya, the owner, who warmly welcomed and entertained me even though I arrived very early. Her son EJ, the manager, was also warm and kind. Their hospitality was top-notch, and my cousin and I even had a small chitchat with them. As a solo traveler both here and abroad, I can confidently say that Millas Hostel is among my top five favorite hostels worldwide. From their amenities to the complimentary breakfast, it’s really worth the stay. Millas Hostel will be my go-to place whenever I’m in Manila. If you’re a solo traveler or in a group attending a concert or simply exploring the city, this is the perfect haven. It’s accessible to public transport, convenience stores, restaurants, and more.

Amazing staff! Great place to meet nice people Food was amazing and they are super nice to accommodate you (I am vegan and they made such good noodles with veggies and tofu) The hostel has activities like sunset viewing session from the rooftop and walking tours and karaoke nights Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone staying in Manila!
