The room was spacious and neat I could sleep well thanks to the bed being comfortable Bathrooms are to share but they were always clean There’s not many rooms so it’s very calm It is ideally located, just a few minutes from the city center and 15 minutes from the airport by car Mariangela, the receptionist, made my stay way better She was so kind and nice to talk to She also gave me the best suggestions about restaurants and places to visit The owner was very kind too Obrigada! I’ll gladly be back :)

Loved this place, very homely feel right in the heart of Funchal. The ladies who run the place were lovely and very helpful. Felt right at home as a 23 year old solo traveller. Definitely will return in the future.

The hostel is ideally located in the old town, close to the nice places of Funchal. The room was all cleaned, well equiped, and beautiful. We had very nice expérience there. I also recommand to go to the restaurant downstairs which is very good. Nice welcome from both hostel and restaurant.

    Nice and clean accommodation that's very central in Machico. Very "youthful" and perfect for backpackers who would like a more upscale hostel, but if you are a couple looking for a "romantic holiday," then I would probably suggest something else. The host was also very nice and helped us get a taxi at 3.a.m. in the morning.
