Perfect location near Haadrin Beach for those attending the Full Moon or Half Moon festivals. The owner is a kind and helpful lady, always with a smile. I didn’t try the food, so can’t comment on that.

The location is perfect for the full moon festival or in my case New Year’s eve. It’s a one-minute walk to the entrance to the beach, and is far away so it doesn’t bother you if you want to sleep the night away. It is safe as the owner and his staff is manning their bike rental shop below the whole day until just after nightfall. But we also lock the door most of the time. Btw, the owner has two rental dormitories, and the one I used is at the second floor of the bike rental shop, and not at the shirt shop. They don’t have water dispenser but you can ask for water downstairs. The place is clean, and the showers and toilet gets dry quickly making it clean. I suggest tenants initiate leaving their sleepers and shoes outside the room. We did it and everyone followed suit, so no matter how sandy the streets outside are, we didn’t get all sandy and dusty inside. They provide towels. They don’t have curtains for the bed but I didn’t mind. I hang my towels on one side of the bed for some privacy. Small lockers are available for valuables. Bring your own lock. There is a small space for smoking or drying laundry at the patio. No space for cooking or eating, takeout food maybe but no table and utensils. The place is just for sleeping, showers, and toilet. The air-conditioner is strong and powerful, the room gets cold very quickly. Just have to try and test the right temperature, for us I think it is 27deg. Btw, good thing you are leaving a broom and a dustpan outside for OC people like me to sweep the floor from time to time. This is important especially to those with allergic rhinitis to be spotless clean more so in sandy, dusty, beachy areas. Cheapest I’ve seen so far for this time of the year, though of course it is pricey given the economics in Koh Phangan. The staff are friendly, and they’re always available downstairs if you need assistance. They even treat us with a bucket drink for the NY eve event which lasted me the whole night.

    Best Hostel for socializing where i've been so far ! Perfect Host (Julius), hostel WhatsApp group, softdrinks and water for free, joint activities like hiking or visiting the saturday nightmarket and a social area to meet new people,... I've really enjoyed my stay and would definitely book the hostel again !

    One of the best hostels I have ever been, the owner is always there to help you, taking care of the hostel 24/7. Great community vibes, well organised activities with backpackers (game nights, hikes), a lot of free stuff to use (beach towels, voleyball, drinks, games and etc.). Cleand beds, enough storage in dorms, properly working wifi and a/c. Nothing to complain.

    One of the best hostels I've been to! Every staff member was super friendly and helpful, the common areas were both great for relaxing and having time alone as well as meeting people and pre-partying. Beds also comfortable and bathrooms very clean!

    I stayed with my two siblings in a 6 bed hostel. it wasn’t overally hustling after full moon so it was a nice place. easy location for the main beach. nice staff. I asked for them to clean the floor from sand and they did it straight away, anything we asked we done promptly. would stay here again. imagine it’s a good vibe over full moon. perfect cheap stay!
