Ok listen everyone, this is the place you need to go if you are planning to go to Zanzibar, especially if you are a solo traveller that wants to meet people and have fun. Drifters has the best vibes ever, INCREDIBLE and very affordable food, super friendly staff (they will literally become your buddies) and a pool with sunbeds. Dorms are essential but spacious, so even when full they do not feel crowded at all; you also get some shelves to keep some personal items. Bathroom is also essential and very spacious with sink, toilet and shower and every dorm has its own. Everything was always very clean and had no problems with mosquitos or insects whatsoever. At the bar during the evenings there is always music and people coming also from other hostels because everyone knows the party is at Drifters! And the weekends are just the best! I had booked 6 nights in Nungwi but I came back after just 2 days because I missed this place so much and ended up staying almost 2 full weeks. I really had the time of my life here and met some really amazing people with so many stories to share. I cannot wait to come back

very welcoming and helpful manager and staff. fantastic location on the beach, from the bed in the morning you can see the sunrise over the sea. very rich breakfast with many choices (I took: a very good fresh fruit juice, fruit salad, cappuccino, pancakes with peanut butter).

The staff Sara was very kind and enjoyable. It's a shame that 2 doesn't have Wi-Fi, but 1 was very comfortable and easy to spend time in.

Very good location in the center of Paje. Close to beautifull beach,main road with dala dala buses,shops,banks,restaurants etc. Fantastic garden ! Kitchen,refrigerator,toilet,shower. The most important-Totu,very nice young woman is your fantastic host .
