At a time of year when the cost of staying at a hotel in Manhattan was through the roof, the hostel offered a helpful alternative. The cost, while still expensive, was reasonable, but the facility was well-maintained, the bed comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were clean.

The owner was friendly and was able to promptly give me the code to enter within minutes after I called. In addition, everything in the hostel felt very homey, from the setup of the living room, to the kitchen, and to the restroom. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were spotless, with new (or like new) appliances. The room was set up in an ergonomic way, with a clear path into the bedroom and spaces clearly delineated for storage and for sleeping.

close to subway station just 5-7 minutes and trader joe Queens. Long Island city use to kitchen cooking too laundry room very convenient! Rooms are very clean Bar is good vibes concerts etc music good! If I come back New York I’ll stay again!!!
