Then everything else was fine. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were clean as well, that is the most important - cleanliness. I am happy for this find in Frankfurt. It is not a party place, which is good, you can party outside, but when you come "home" you want to rest. I loved it.

It is easy to take a train or bus because there are the train station and bus stop right in front of the hostel. Most of all, the staffs were really kind. I stayed for two nights in different rooms of this hostel respectively. So I thought I had to check out and check in again. I worried about the time between check-out and check-in. But they just let me stay without any additional cost. I was grateful for that.

A pro tip - if you step out of the S-line at the Main West station, do not go downstairs, just go towards the end of the platform, you'll see an open iron door to an iron pathway between the railways, follow the pathway and find an iron staircase going down at the end, then cross a simple rail when you come downstairs and then just around one small building, there is the hotel! It's like 5 mins walking (in comparison with the Google route, that will take you around the block for like 15 mins). The very nice lady at the reception helped me with this and it was super useful. I also had a very positive experience with the online checkin and the staff was wonderful too. The breakfast was simple, but nice. After some pretty horrible experiences in the past with Frankfurt hotels, this is like a 5-star experience! I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, for a single work-traveler, the one bed room is just everything you need. Plus the value for the money... that's just incredible. Book it, you will be satisfied.

The Five Elements Hostel offers free WiFi and provides a great base for exploring Frankfurt. I did like to hotel, the stuff was super nice and the facilities was good and the value of money was ok.

While I was staying downstairs in my 1st week’s stay (and I was ok with it), I resided upstairs in the second part of my travels. Upstairs is definitely an upgrade in comfort.
