(unrelated protest: do not use booking.con flights) Staying here was amazing - the place is better than the photos. Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, accommodating. There is a bar under the hostel that is open until 1 am. It's a nice opportunity to meet people from Esztergom and soak up the vibe. If you are sensitive to noise and plan to sleep earlier, bring earplugs. We had a great time and everyone was really warm, friendly and inviting. the best of our trip from Bratislava to Budapest.

The host/manager is amazing and very helpful. The location is not by the city, but it is good. The night sky and panorama is beautiful. There were ice creams, snacks and drinks to be sold at the reception - which was very convenient. And I don't think any of them were overpriced. There are also some local goodies and beautifully crafted handmade soaps for sale at reception, we did a mistake of not buying it there. It was much cheaper than tourist shops and airports. There is spacious parking at the site.

Kaleidoszkóp Ház Hostel is a funky wee hostel in a great location. Decorated with murals and interesting furniture. It's close to all the sights and services.... nice also to have a kitchen to breakfast in and make a coffee to get my morning started! It was another wet and windy day but there is a great outdoor space too... weather allowing! Responsive host.
