The staff were amazing! They really went above and beyond at every step. Their communication was great throughout. They even offered to pack us a breakfast to go on mornings we had early starts with tours etc,.

Every room has air conditioning, and certain units at the hostel have a terrace. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Immediately after I arrived I felt like I’m at home. I had one of the little huts which was so cute and cosy. The bed and the pillows are super comfortable and it’s quiet so perfect for a good night sleep after a long day. The shower is hot and good pressure. Also it’s very clean everywhere around the hostel. The location is great as it’s closed to many restaurants, atm, shops. Ranasa is perfect to chill and socialise whatever you feel like as they have separate spaces for both. The stuff is just incredible. So friendly, kind and they will help you with whatever you need help with. Just simply a great atmosphere and great place to stay in Yogyakarta. I wish they had more hostels like this around Indonesia.

I honestly didn’t have high expectations as I'd heard stories about some hostels in Asia being barely decent. But Huma completely changed that for me. If anything, it raised the bar. I arrived sweaty and tired after walking from the train station in the heat, and the team welcomed me so kindly, it really made a difference. Check-in was smooth, and to my surprise, the hostel had just opened. Lucky me! The room was spotless, and the linens were super fresh. Big thanks to Dida and Grace (and other ladies) for all the tips and for patiently answering my million questions 😄 You both made my stay so much easier!

When we will check out, I went toilet in first floor, but it is dirty, so I go to second floor. The toilet is clean.
