The hostel was very clean, everything was new and worked well. It was nicely furnished. There was warm water in shower. Lot of space in the room and common area. The common area seemed good for socializing. There wasn't a kitchen but a place to eat your own food and wash your dishes. Air conditioning worked well in the room. There was a television in the common area from which you could probably watch movies. There was nice music in common area. The place was peaceful. I could leave my luggages in the hostel for few hours after checking out. There was a small cafe from where you could buy drinks like coffee, juices and maybe some cutted fruits.

At the hostel, rooms include a desk and a balcony with a mountain view. Every room is fitted with a safety deposit box and certain rooms have river views. At Crossroads Hostel 1957 all rooms come with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. Very good place! The landscape around the village is nice and can be explored walking and the hosts are very friendly. You should also try the dinner they offer.

The room is a good size and very clean and comfortable. The upstairs common area was comfortable and a great place to talk with other guests. And the hosts Babu and Kurumi were always around and very helpful with travel arrangements and ideas for local activities. The theater and dance shows at the local Kathakali theater were fabulous.
