The hosts were adorable and the place was welcoming and comfortable. I especially loved the “summer blanket.” Would happily stay again.

Very comfortable stay on the 1st of 2 nights doing the Shimanami Kado from Onomichi to Imabari. Yas the friendly host is able to speak perfect English and recommend nearby amenities. Had a nice izakaya dinner nearby. Washer & dryer avail for 100yen each & towel avail for rental as well.

The property is non-smoking and is set 1.7 km from Hiroshima Station. Everything was great. At the beginning I thought it was far from the center, but it turned out to be very close to everything. It’s only 15 minutes from Hiroshima Shrine, and from there another 15 minutes to the memorial. There is also a direct bus to the center if you don’t want to walk. The family running the hostel is very friendly, and it’s just a 1-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, which was very convenient for drinks and snacks. There’s also a larger supermarket about 3 minutes away with really good sushi boxes.

Tottori Airport is 21 km away. Owner is a super friendly and chill guy, great to have drinks with. The room i stayed in was a traditional one with tatami floors and a futon bed; both weren't too hard yet comfortable enough.

An ideal location close to the station, it was great for our 1 night's stay (we visited the Adachi Art Museum).
