Then the cherry on the cake is the people who work there; Leila and Malak with their friend and the volunteer make it such a lovely place to come back to after a stint of exploring. They are knowledgeable about the area, helpful beyond belief so far as helping me to extend,and offering tips on what to do and as well so fun(truly the people make the place !)

At the hostel, all rooms include a patio with a city view. All rooms come with a coffee machine, while selected rooms here will provide you with a balcony and others also have garden views. The units will provide guests with a fridge. The staff ( ayoub ) is so nice , he picked us from bab mahrouk to the hostel. He also went to a drug store to get me paracetamol. The breakfast is served in the rooftop , contains lemon juice , atay , petit pain , bread , honey , jam , harcha and little msemen. The design of the riad is great.

He had excellent suggestions about where to eat and go around the medina, which can be pretty confusing on the first day. The overall atmosphere of the hostel is very friendly, which was perfect for me as a solo traveller.

The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to have energy for the whole day. The hostel location was good to me, not far away from the medina and the neigborhood was quiet. I recommend Youth Hostel to everyone who travels to Fez :)
