The clean room, delicious breakfast, the pretty garden, friendly atmosphere, etc. The hosts especially made this stay memorable. They had so many tips not just for attractions and restaurants around the area but how to avoid certain scams going around, discount vouchers and so much more. We really enjoyed our stay here. We also rented a scooter for 2 days and drove around everywhere.

At the hostel, every room includes a wardrobe. This is the best hotel/hostel I have ever stayed at. It felt like a tiny resort somewhere in the dessert. It is located 20 min walk from the center. It’s also quiet so you can work by the pool and head out to town in the evening when the temperature goes down

The rooms at Hostel Candelaria offer colourful décor, lockers and a fan. The bathroom is shared and located detached from the rooms. There is also a TV lounge for guests to enjoy. Some rooms have air conditioning with a surcharge. Amazing location, staff (Susan, Fernando and everyone else) and facilities. Must do and stay in Valladolid. The garden in the back is well-maintained, the shared bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is delicious. They also have events set up every night for people to attend which made our stay even better. We met some lovely fellow-travellers at the hostel the 2 nights we were there. Good accessibility to the town center and the Cenote on the middle of the town. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night. 15/10 !!

Chichen Itza is 44 km from the hostel. Tulum International Airport is 144 km away. I loved the Pool/breakfasts area and especially the rooftop terrace! Hostel is really Social and very easy to meet new people. Also super close to the city center so you have everything you want in walking distance. I wanna thank Jeroen (JJ) for creating a nice, welcoming atmosphere and the fun games in the evening. No to forget the awesome Cennote Trip JJ organised, definitely a highlight on my trip!! Would recommend to everybody who visists Valladolid!
