The staff are absolutely lovely – super helpful, always ready to explain how everything works and what to see in town. The location couldn’t be better: just 3 minutes from the lake, right under the castle, close to a supermarket and with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking is available on request for an extra fee, which is very convenient. Honestly, I can’t think of a better place in Bled at this price point. It exceeded our expectations by far. Although it’s a Youth Hostel, the atmosphere is calm and respectful, with a lot of care taken to make it comfortable for everyone. The rooms have lockers, and both the beds and pillows are excellent, they felt brand new.
