My second time at this hostel and I liked its location, cleanliness and the good vibes as much as the first time.
The Cocoon Hostel

At the hostel, rooms include a patio. The private bathroom is fitted with a bidet, a hairdryer and slippers. The rooms in The Cocoon Hostel are equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels and an iPad.
Only planned to stay 2 nights, almost a week later I was still there! Nick and May are absolute legends, can’t wait until I get back there!

Free WiFi is at guests' disposal throughout the property. Everything! The place is so nice and clean and have a homey feeling to it.. the location is good, near a couple of beaches and very near to a lot of restaurants and food places

Set within 400 metres of Sai Kaew Beach and 1.3 km of Ao Phai Beach, Stay Samed Hostel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ko Samed. The accommodation provides a tour desk, and luggage storage for guests. I stayed in the double room 4.2 on the 4th floor, it was really everything I needed after staying in dorm rooms for 3 weeks. The room is the perfect size, with comfortable bedding. Beautiful ligh comes in in the morning but the curtains are there if you need to sleep in! I thought the location is also great, halfway to the Nadan pier but to catch the ferry and also halfway to the beach. Room is cleaned every day with a change of towel and bin bag. 2 bottles of water are also provided every day. Super good value for money, I would extend if I could.

We took the budget room, while not luxurious, it was good enough for us. The beds were comfortable. The shower/toilet was a tad small but otherwise had basic amenities. They provide torch light and mosquito buzzers. There were taps of water around the hotel to wash off the sand. The property is directly on the beach.

The lady who run the place is one of the nicest people i met in Thailand. I only stayed one night in Samet but the spot was really nice , cheap , close to the beach and the pier. It's clean and quiet without being isolated. If you can walk 5 minutes , it's really worth every penny.

Cute little hostel lovely decor ! Great location close to sai kaew beach which is most popular area! Staff is so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Wonderful stay !

I loved the location and beautiful setting. As a solo female traveller I felt safe. The room although called budget was anything but - it was clean, cosy and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great place to stay, will definitely stay there again if I ever head back to Ko Samet. The design of the beds was really cool too, had enough privacy and less disruption than you would normally get with bunk beds in hostels.

the owner is so nice!! very helpful and always so polite and caring. The room is comfortable :) bed sheets and bathroom ,shower, always clean! and they do make your bed everyday which is nice for a hostel. Great location!
