Her house is in the quiet residential part of town which was a nice break. Yet it was still really convenient, you can walk to the Imperial Citadel and it's a quick and easy grab ride to pretty much anything else you want to see. The room was very nice and well appointed plus she was cool with me checking in early and checking out late. In addition she set up a tour of the imperial tombs for me. I'd stay here again, no question!

This family is amazing 😍. They are so welcoming, so kind and helpful! The lady welcomed me with cold water, a coffee and fruits; every morning I was offered a coffee and tons of kindness. Her son speaks very good English and he's super knowledgeable. I booked for 2 nights and I ended up spending 4 there. My room was huge, very quiet as I requested and in the city center. I could walk everywhere. They can provide very good scooters for rent. I was sad to leave.

All rooms feature a safety deposit box. The hostel is in an almost hidden dead-end alley, so it's super quiet and you don't hear any noise. The AC worked wonders, and the front desk lady (Fin) was a lifesaver and very helpful. I had an issue with my debit card, and she managed to offer me cash back and took care of all the necessary bookings and logistics for me. I'll be forever grateful to her. The comfiest bed I've slept on in my 3 months of backpacking through Southeast Asia.
