Need-to-know information for guests at this property

All guests must sign the property's Terms of Stay.

You must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check in. This credit card and photo ID must be in the same name as the guest's name on the booking confirmation. If the booking has been made in a different name to the guest’s name on arrival, an authorisation form will need to be completed.

Please note that there is a non-refundable 2.0% credit card fee when you pay with Mastercard, Visa, UnionPay, JCB, American Express and Diners Club.

Early check in available for an additional $30.00 prior to 10:00 am only (after 10 am is just subject to room availability).

Late check out is available for an additional $35.00 up until 1:00 pm (day use rate applies after 1:00 pm). Please notify reception by 10:00 am on your check out date if you require a late check out.

Please note that this property has a strict 'No Party Policy'. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made.

Please be aware that our breakfast trading hours are from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (Monday–Sunday). We serve a GREAT SUNRISE BREAKFAST at $21.00 per person, which includes one serve of hot plated breakfast (bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns, mushrooms & baked beans) and the option to help yourself to toast, cereal, pancakes, canned fruit, yoghurt, coffee, tea, and juice.

2023 – 2026 UPGRADE NOTICE

April 2023 through to July 2026

The hotel will be renovating rooms across all floors.

With this major project you should anticipate:

• Varied noise levels between the hours of 7:00am and 6.00pm daily. Some noise levels may be loud or repetitive at times.

• Work crews do not work on Sunday unless they experience weather delays.

• Entrance point / lobby area is not affected.

• There could be delays with the lifts at various times.

• There may be limited access to the courtyard at various times.

• There will be no access to 3rd and 4th floor in the building.

• Carparking – we will have very limited carparking throughout the construction works and then at one point – no carparking due to the egress upgrade.

• Please be respectful of “Construction Zones.”

NOTE: BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL

Construction works outside of the Hotel has commenced– the development is located directly across the road from the Great Southern hotel. Project Managers advised that The Star Casino and Queen's Wharf project final completion is due late 2025. These works are out of our control:
