Situated in the peaceful, leafy green suburb of Kenmore, Jacaranda House Garden Suite is a spacious, fully self-contained, independent ground floor apartment, offering a peaceful retreat with private entrance and self check-in, ideal for singles, couples or friends. The apartment is attached to, but entirely separate to our residence... two homes in one effectively! Your space is your own and you will have complete privacy to come and go as you please. You'll love this location, because once you arrive everything is within walking distance… cafes, restaurants, shops, walking & hiking trails, outdoor gym and public transport. Sporting and live music events are just 10km away at Suncorp Stadium and 11km to The Gabba. Theatre, performing arts, museums and art galleries are all less than 10km away. The Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens are 7km away and accessible quickly from the motorway. And if you visit Mt Coot-tha on weekends, be sure to pop in for a coffee, milkshake or muffin at the outdoor "Via Retro" cafe. Our family have four cats that live on-site (Pippin, Mickey, Lulu and Freya) who guests may see out and about in the garden. They are very friendly and love the attention of our guests.
I've been hosting guests since 2016. I enjoy providing a private, peaceful retreat for guests to unwind, relax and feel comfortable during their time in Brisbane.
Our neighbourhood is peaceful, friendly, welcoming and has a true community feel about it. Though only 10km from the CBD, our little neck of the woods is surrounded by the Cubberla Creek Reserve and only 5km from the rural country area of Brookfield... so we're in the city, but far enough away from the noise and chaos. Turn left out of the properties gates and you're just steps away from extensive parklands and walking trails... turn right and you're less than 300m from a number of local cafe's and award winning restaurants. Enjoy easy access to cinemas, museums, shopping centres, art galleries and sporting stadiums. Our property is also very close to the popular Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, situated along the Brisbane river.
