A spacious cabin in a rural setting with magnificent views of the Never Never range. There is a king bed, quality linens and a claw foot bath. A wood fire for colder evenings and air-con for hot days. Walk to the river and forest. This is private and inspiring accomodation 10 mins from Bellingen, a perfect retreat. Organic muesli and fruit provided for breakfast.
Never Never Cabin is an open plan, spacious and independent cabin designed to appreciate the natural surrounds. We have air-con for Summer days and a wood fire for cozy evenings. Have a bath in the claw foot and watch the sun go down over the mountain range. King size bed.
The cabin kitchen has a gas cook top, oven, pots, pan, kettle and toaster. Our much loved house made Organic muesli and fruit is provided for breakfast plus stove top coffee, Organic teas and soy milk. Washing machine, handy items and a selection of books and magazines. There is an extra wide verandah for outdoor dining, star gazing and enjoying the view. Park undercover right at the door.
Never Never Cabin is solar powered. We prioritize the use of non-toxic and eco products, cleaning and biodegradable bags. Kitchen scraps are composted and items recycled.
We have a walking track across the property that leads down to Never Never River where there is a swim spot, picnic area and forest.
There is no TV, stereo, dishwasher, microwave, hairdryer or clothes dryer at the cabin; we offer a simple and slow-paced retreat.
Enjoy the serenity of no traffic sound as we are at the end of a country road, no street lights also mean starlit nights.
You can swim, picnic or paddle in the nearby river but no fishing please.. this is a sanctuary for fish and platypus.
We are passionate about nature, sustainable living, good food and art. We manage a rural property with accommodation and enjoy parenting our three active and beautiful boys.
Walk down and have a swim or a picnic at the river. Spot platypus at dusk or dawn just downstream from the swim spot.
Drive or bike ride the beautiful Promised Land Loop Road, just 5 mins further out from us on Gleniffer Road.
Stroll the Urunga boardwalk, especially beautiful just on sunset. Spot crabs and fish just below.
Have fish and chips on Sawtell headland, best take away from Sea Salt on the main street near the cinema. The tiny restored vintage style cinema is also a lovely experience.
Go up the mountain to see Dorrigo, the old style country town and visit the rainforest centre with the sky walk, look outs and many different walks. You may even see a lyrebird.
Drive the spectacular Darkwood Road (off Waterfall Way on the way to Dorrigo) up into Thora valley, stop for supplies at Thora General Store and find a swim spot.
Drop in for a yoga class. We recommend Bellingen Yoga Studio. Check out their website for class and teacher info.
