Let the Governess take care of you and yours when staying in the beautiful city of Launceston. She is most certainly charming and engaging and has everything you need and nothing you don't. You will certainly appreciate returning to her after days spent exploring the city and surrounds.

Neighbourhood information

The Governess is located amongst heritage-listed properties within walking distance to the Launceston CBD, Launceston City Park, University of Tasmania's Inveresk precinct, UTAS Stadium, the Launceston Aquatic Centre and the East Launceston Cafe precinct. On Saturday mornings you can enjoy a short walk to the Harvest Launceston Community Farmers Market and purchase fresh local produce direct from the growers. A supermarket, grocer and pharmacy are all located within a short walk of the property, There is public transport in the Launceston area or there are plenty of local attractions that are within walking distance of The Governess. The city does also have scooters available for public use. You will need to download the Beam app to use these.
