House Marie-Thérèse's biggest asset is it's location. Situated in the heart of the tourist zone in Bredene, it has direct access via pedestrian footbridge to the beach. Bredene is the only town on the belgian coastline with uninterrupted fine-sand beaches and dunes, including a large nature reserve. There are plenty of beach bars, and the famous "Twins" surf-club along the coastline, guaranteeing a memorable beach-holiday. And if you are looking for a break from the city in winter, come and find the calm on our pristine wind-swept beaches or take a walk up and down the dunes.
After a 50 year career in the tourist sector, René is now enjoying his retirement, his kids and grandkids.
All tourist amenities are accessible by foot, and are less than 100m away. There are 3 big supermarkets within 500m walk. In the immediate vicinity, there is a pizzeria, a tea-room/ice-cream parlor, several bars with terraces, restaurants, a laundromat and bicycle-hire. There is a weekly market on tuesday mornings right in front of the house, and in summer there's also the evening market on fridays. The nearby cultural centre "Staf Versluys" has a busy schedule all year round, and you can access all the towns on the Belgian coastline by taking the tram which stops just 1 minute from our door.
