My name is Frank and I'm Danish I bought one house 19 years ago and the other 5 years ago, Both as ruins, and renovated them. I love Sao Luis, its culture, antique houses, the people .... so I moved there. My great passion is architecture, art, sailing and adventura

Casa Frankie is 2 colonial style houses of 600 m2 and 450 m2 next to each other, both renovated with respect for the old details, almost 100% original. The houses were formerly famous entertainment venues (caparet) in Sao Luis, but today they are a guest house with lots of charm in the middle of the historic center

Neighbourhood information

The houses are located in the most interesting area of Sao Luis, the middle of the historic center (World Heritage Unesco). It is in walking distance to the museums, theater, churches, shoping area, the main market, nice restaurents and the Plaza with daily live music. We are also the closest city two the small town of Barrerinhas, the access point to the 1550 km² unique white powder sand dunes hills and freshwater oasis of, Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.
