The Shawnigan Suite has 3 different theme rooms- the Lake room with large walk in shower, the Elephant room with many elephants and elephant decor, or the separate Loft with King size bed and private Loft entrance. All have their own entrance, private deck with quiet garden views to enjoy and firepit with chairs and blankets.
We love the outdoors- whether it is cycling the Trans Canada Trail, kayaking in Cowichan Bay, Shawnigan Lake, or Mill Bay, or hiking the many mountains, we feel lucky to call Shawnigan Lake our home and adventure play ground!
In our NEIGHBORHOOD, we have local mountains to hike, walking trails, Trans Canada Trail to bike or walk, kayaking, whale watching, Kinsol Trestle to view, many wineries, restaurants, gardens- Butchart Gardens- a ferry boat ride away, and rural setting. A great place to stop for the night or two- then move on north of the island to Caving a few hours away, Oldest trees on Vancouver Island a few hours away, Goats on the roof- 1 hour away, Kayaking day tours in Nanaimo 1 hour away, and Murals in Chemainus.
