Property info

This double room with private shower (in the room) and private toilet in the hallway has a fireplace, 3 large original chestnut wood windows and a small balcony with great views over the valley. Very cozy, light and airy. A queen size bed, futon, 210x200 can be shared (see house rules). Good bus connections to the 4 valleys Bavona, Lavizarra, Maggia and Rovana, every half hour to Locarno/Ascona. Well-maintained roads with relatively little traffic, some of which reach high alpine areas. Great tours by 2- or 4-wheelers. Bicycles for rent in the village. Hiking trails and great walks along the rivers and into the mountains and valleys. Cultural diversity. In the nature on the traces of history. Museums worth seeing on the eventful history of Ticino. Many paradisiacal swimming spots on the crystal-clear river. A rich offer of festivals, concerts and other cultural events.
