We have managed Burger Berg and long-term rental properties at this building since 2017. We converted the building to a penzion this year. The colorful and garrulous Czech/ American proprietors will be happy to fill you in on local attractions and put you in touch with other businesses as needed.

Property info

We are a just established, spanking-new penzion centrally located in historic Děčín, Czech Republic. With a breathtaking view of the majestic Labe River and the city's historic castle, it's the perfect place for a romantic getaway or family vacation. For climbing aficionados, we are located at the very base of the Via Ferrata, the largest urban rock climbing facility in Europe. There are other fantastic outdoor sporting opportunities nearby, including canoing, river rafting, hiking in the stupendous limestone formations known as "Czech Switzerland", fly fishing, bicycling and more. The penzion is a short walk from the historic center of town with myriad restaurants, bars, and clubs Every room is decorated in an individual film theme, with original art created by our resident artist. . For those who don't feel like heading into town, don't worry - we guarantee you will be happy with the delectable food and drink options available downstairs are Burger Berg, the #1 ranked restaurant in Děčín on TripAdvisor.

Neighborhood info

The primary attraction of our location is that it is at the base of the Via Ferrata - ambitious climbers can even climb directly onto the cliff face from our terrace if they are so inclined. We are directly on the riverbank and have a magnificent view of the Elbe River and Děčín Castle.
