We are quality host für hiking. We inform our guests about hiking tours and bring and pick them up for it.

The core of the city was built in the 17. century and developed in the 18. century.It was an " Ackerbürghof". The livestock management was inside and outside of the walls and the farmer has got civil rights.In time the house was used cause of different reasons. In 1993 the " Ackerbürghof" becomes a single monument. The "Ackerbürghof" was restored between 1997 and 1999. You live in generously appointed rooms. Since the first of june 2018 the "Thüringer Hof GmbH & Co.KG" operate the "Alter2 Ackerbürghof".

Neighbourhood information

Our house is in the core of the city and near to the spa garden, barbarossa garden and the sole vitalpark. Sights like the Kyffhäuser monument , the panorama museum and the barbarossa cave are 10 minutes away by car
