Our house is located at an altitude of 850 metres and is approx. 8 km from the market town of Berchtesgaden. Here in the district of Oberau you can enjoy special tranquillity and a breathtaking view of the valley and the surrounding mountains! You can reach the centre of Oberau as well as our spa doctor and the nearest bus stop in 5 minutes on foot. All the well-known sights such as Königssee, salt mine, Jennerbahn, Kehlstein and Austria's longest summer toboggan run are within easy reach in just a few minutes' drive. In winter, the ski run from the Rossfeld to the house is possible. Ski schools, cross-country ski trails and ski lifts are in the immediate vicinity. Very good starting point for hikes and mountain tours!
