Casa St Llorenç de la Muga is spacious, light & airy family house with large private pool, covered terrace,sun terrace & charcoal BBQ. The house is situated just outside the medieval village of St Llorenç de la Muga within easy walking distance of the village shop, bars & restaurants. Figueres is a 20 minute drive, Perpingnan & Girona airports an hour by car.The Costa Brava beaches are about 30 minutes by car and Barcelona 1 hour by train.

I had been renting my home out in the summers for a few years, then due to personal reasons had to stop for a while. Now I'm ready to rent again & look forward to welcoming guests once more. I have 4 adult kids & 2 grandaughters. I love St Llorenç, for the countryside, the river, mountain walks, the history the peace & the weather. I speak some Catalan but no Spanish. It's lovely to share where I live with guests & to meet people from all over the world. Please note it is not possible for me to answer any questions until after you have made a request to book the house because, unlike other platforms , this platform does not allow me to do so. I do allow pets at an extra charge, payable on arrival. There is a pilon at the entrance to the village , I will give guests remotes ,( I do ask for a refundable deposit). I live in St Llorenç de la Muga so am on hand to help if needed. I do have to come in every day or so to maintain the pool.

St Llorenç de la Muga is a beautiful medieval village on the banks of the River Muga in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The perfect place to experience the "real" Catalonia away from the more touristy parts of the Costa Brava but still close to wonderful beaches and the towns of Figueres and Girona. Barcelona less than an hour by train and France just a 30 minute drive. There is a bus into Figueres 3 times a day but a car is definately the best way to get around
