Located in the Champagne Côte de Bar region and the Parc Naturel (National Park) de la Forêt d’Orient the ground floor accommodation includes an en-suite room, (super king size bed or two single beds,) with a private entrance and off road parking garden and garden terrace for guests is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Just 5km away Vendeuvre-sur-Barse has a bank with an ATM machine, a supermarket with a petrol station and a train station which connects to Troyes, Paris and Dijon. Centrally situated between Bar-sur-Aube, Bar-sur-Seine, Troyes, the Forêt d’Orient National park and just a five minuet drive from the A5 motorway, exit no:22 Magnant. Explore the sights and local attractions of the Champagne region, the historic city of Troyes, the three lakes, which are within the Parc Naturel Forêt d'Orient with it's water sports, bird watching, new cycling/walking paths & much there is so much more to do and visit. Our property is ideally located for Nigloland amusement park and the Champagne Festival which takes place in nearby participating champagne villages each year on the last weekend in July or the first weekend in August.
My husband & I are British & fell in love with the Champagne region of France on a motor bike holiday in 2003. A year later we found ourselves moving to France and we have spent the last 21years renovating the 16th century traditional Champagne house and gardens. I am an artist in residence and we are both artisans. It is our pleasure to share are home with you as a guest in our B&B.
4 hours drive away from Calais by car 5 mins away from the autoroute A5 Magnant sortie no:22 and the main road N19 between Bar sur Aube and Troyes. 25mins from Troyes 20mins from Bar sur Aube 20mins from Bar sur Seine 15mins from the Lakes which offer cycling, all water sports, fishing and restaurants. 10mins from Golf course Nearest village Vendeuvre sur Barse is 5km away and where you'll find a supermarket, shops, bars/restaurants, a bank and the train station which connects Vendeuvre with Troyes and Paris.
