Welcome to Balmory Stables, a beautifully restored 19th-century stable conversion located in the quiet hamlet of Ascog on the Isle of Bute's east coast. Built in 1861, this charming property offers the perfect blend of historic character and modern luxury. The spacious north wing boasts a stylish open-plan layout with a cozy log burner and 50” smart TV. Cook up family meals in the fully equipped kitchen, featuring an electric hob, fan oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and all the essentials. Sleeps six comfortably in three bedrooms: A super kingsize master with ensuite and walk-in wardrobe A twin room A kingsize room Bathrooms include a walk-in shower, bath, and underfloor heating. Crisp linen and fluffy towels are provided, plus high chair. The utility room holds a washing machine, tumble dryer, extra dishwasher, and ample storage for coats and bikes. 🐾 Dog-friendly! Enjoy scenic walks and beaches nearby, but please keep pets leashed due to grazing livestock. A hose is provided outside for post-adventure rinses. 🚗 Outside you’ll find parking for two cars, a fenced garden with sun-soaked lawn, views of Scoulag Moor, and a tranquil stream nearby. The space is private and perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the island. For safety, children and dogs should be supervised in the garden.
