Hello. My name is Kay and I along with my husband Billy are the owners of CraigarkHouse. We both love welcoming guests to our home and love when they leave with big smiles on their faces. We try hard to please. My husband Billy and I love going to dog shows with our big teddy bear Bella.... A beautiful Newfoundland! We also love cruising.. Especially the Caribbean. Equally we love our own country especially up north and the Outer Hebrides where we toured from top to bottom in a motor home in the middle of winter..... Was different!

Property info

CraigparkHouse is a beautiful Victorian villa which has been completely renovated and extended over the years. The house once belonged to my great great great great grandfather . I wasn't aware of this when we bought the house way back in 1980 as it was only a few years ago when one if my relations was tracing the family tree that they discovered it. Obviously it was meant to be! We love our home and are currently building a luxury lodge with hot tub for our guests to enjoy. So watch this space..... Hopefully will be completed this year. We want our guests to feel completely at home when they stay with us so we try our best to make you feel comfy! We have large superking beds that you won't want to get out of!

Neighborhood info

Caldercruix is a small village on the outskirts of Airdrie and midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have a lot of interesting things to do in this area. You could visit The Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies or Linlithgow, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots and a lovely town with a nice Loch.Or why not pop on the train and visit vibrant Glasgow for some serious retail therapy and only a half hour journey or decide on Edinburgh for the fantastic cosmopolitan atmosphere! There is also New Lanark World Heritage Centre ..a must see! Right on your doorstep is Hillend Loch for trout fishing, plenty of woodland walks and horse riding. The villagers are very friendly and we have a chemist, two grocery stores,a barbers,2 takeaways, post office and 3 pubs....with one serving food and kennels and a cattery. There is also a golf club in nearby Plains village.
