Enjoyed the bunker room with full kitchen and king size bed. Bath was tiny, but functional. Tv wasn't hooked to internet, but for one night, no problem. Good breakfast. Quiet and dark at night. Cool bar.

This is an immaculate, relatively large, B&B. It is absolutely perfect. The love, compassion, and workmanship that went into the restoration of the home is palpable.

Set in one and a half acres of gardens overlooking the Moray Firth, with a private path that leads down to the promenade and sandy beaches, the Invernairne is perfectly situated as a base while visiting the Highlands of Scotland. We are Members of the Highlands of Scotland Tourist Board, and accept all major credit cards. In 1879 the locally famous Doctor Grigor chose this prime site on the West side of Nairn to build his Italian-inspired villa and now the current owners Ryan and Camilla look forward to welcoming you on your visit to the Highlands. Whether you seek sea views and sandy beaches, dolphins and historic castles, or golf and whisky distilleries, choose the The Invernairne for your perfect trip to the Highlands of Scotland.
The Invernairne is a home away from home, and we love to welcome people. Nothing is too much trouble , whether it's recommendations for dinner, to local shops and visitor attractions, which golf courses to play or where to go horse riding, we are here to help ensure your time in the area is all you want it to be, and more.
Descend our private path to the beach and you will enjoy some of the most stunning walks along the seashore the area has to offer. Cross over the harbour and head out to the Culbin Forrest, a local nature reserve, we even have our own pod of Moray Firth dolphins to spot. The area boast some outstanding attractions such as Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, and Fort George, all within a short drive. You are on the doorstep of the world's only Malt Whisky Trail with many distilleries to choose from. And a short drive will take you to the start of the North Coast 500, a stunning driving trail around the north Highland coast. If golf is your passion, we are blessed with 2 championship courses in Nairn, and a short drive to Castle Stuart, Royal Dornoch and dozen's of hidden gems waiting to be discovered. On a clear night, in the garden, or just beyond on the promenade path where there is little light pollution, you might even see the Northern Lights dancing in the horizon.
