Welcome to Lunecliffe Country Lodge. Our lodge is a perfect isolated getaway for all wanting a country break. In its own private area it is one mile from the nearest pubs and shops. We assure a deep steam clean (as well as our usual thorough clean) of all hard surfaces, door handles, switches etc. after each stay. Deals for 5+ day stays. We are a small farm with a livery yard and a lovely location just on the boundary of Lancaster. We are surrounded by fields but only a 25 min walk or 5 min drive into the heart of Lancaster’s historic city. An ideal location for the Lakes, Blackpool or the Yorkshire dales all about a 30-40 min drive away. We have dogs and horses so it’s idyllic for animal lovers. Wild deer also run through our fields every morning. Please note we are not a lodge park. There are pubs and cafes in all directions, great for flat walks from 1 mile to 5 mile options or nice flat bike rides. The lodge is modern, clean and tranquil. There is free Wi-fi. The lodge has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds (see photos). We can provide a travel cot and highchair for infants on request at no extra charge. David and Sarah have own the site since 2003 and spent years developing it. Their lovely little location is to share with anyone who loves the countryside and would enjoy peace and quiet.

Lancaster is bustling with pubs, cafes and museums. We are a five minute drive from Lancaster University and have hosted many groups attending short courses, and family visits to students studying there. There are parks to walk around and with play areas for little ones too. The surrounding areas are full of children’s farms, an antique emporium, Glasson Dock, Wallings Ice Cream House and many other little local attractions. Lancaster hosts many weekend events as does neighbouring Morecambe. The Lake District is within easy access as is The Brockhole Treetop Trek centre. The Yorkshire Dales also with easy access in the other direction.
