Located in Edinburgh's historic New Town and 15 minutes' walk from the city centre, the family-run McCrae's Bed and Breakfast is a traditional 19th-century property with a mix of period and modern features. The B&B also features free Wi-Fi and en suite rooms. A smart TV with free access to popular streaming services is provided in each room at McCrae's, along with tea / coffee making facilities. We are a traditional New Town main-door garden flat in a quiet residential area of the city, close to many great non-touristy pubs and restaurants. You and the other guests in our 3 en-suite rooms will be sharing our home with us during your stay.
I'm an Irishman who has lived in Edinburgh for over 20 years and have made this fantastic city my home.
We live in a quiet residential area just a short walk from the city centre and all tourist attractions, where you'll get a feel for the real Edinburgh, with lots of good restaurants, bars and pubs nearby, mainly frequented by local people.
