Built in 1895, its Gaelic name is An Caladh, which translates as haven or harbour, a place of calm. That is how you will feel when you look out from the alpine style balcony with an unrivalled view over the town, Loch Linnhe, sea and Great Glen. Facilities include 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms split over 2 floors with roof level living room, full width balcony, fully fitted kitchen, separate dining room, off-road parking and secure storage for bikes. Unlimited high speed Wi-Fi. Town centre location. Glasgow, Edinburgh & Inverness 2-3 hour drive.
I want you to feel the same excitement and feeling of awe that I feel every time I visit the Scottish Highlands and Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. Old Harbour Master's self-catering apartment is an ideal base to explore and experience all that Lochaber and the Highlands has to offer.
Old Harbour Master's is located in the centre of Fort William. The High Street is well stocked with a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Ben Nevis is the UK's highest mountain and the start of the path is only a short drive from the town. In winter there is the Nevis Range skiing and snow boarding, which switches to mountain biking tracks in the Spring to Autumn. The apartment and town look out over Loch Linnhe. To the south is Mull and the Atlantic and to the north is the Great Glen and Loch Ness. Whichever direction you pick there will be breathe taking scenery and options for all abilities and interests.
