Dalmore is a beautifully appointed 1930’s semi on a quiet residential estate two minutes from the M6. All required amenities are close by, plus it is the ideal spot for visitors to the Lake District, Trough of Bowland and East Lancashire, Blackpool and the Fylde. Contractors also love our house and many teams now use the house when they are woking within a half hour commute. We do not take larger groups as we rely on our neighbours’ support for the business and cannot have party noise or loud music beyond 11pm. We live next door to the property so we are on hand to solve any issues or answer any questions should they arise.

We have taken up hosting as part of a portfolio career having taken early retirement after a long caree in education. We thoroughlyenjoy hosting families and contractors alike.

The estate itself is a quiet residential area backing on to an old golf course and very close to our local wetlands visitor centre and the Guild Wheel hiking and cycling route so for families holidaying in the area there is a lot to do close by and being seconds away from the motorway network giving easy access to all directions. We are half an hour away from Blackpool and the Fylde & Wyre coasts, East Lancashire and West Yorkshire and Manchester, Liverpool, Lancaster and Morecambe for city exploring. We are located close to a number of lovely wedding venues and often host families who have travelled to join family for special occasions. Our contractor visitors tell us the house is the perfect home from home giving them a lounge space to hang out and a full kitchen to cook cheaply whilst away - plus our three car driveway gives them secure space to park vans and cars alike.
